Dr. Braimoh Denzel Aruna (born 16th August 1968) is a distinguished economist, chartered professional, and community leader with an outstanding record of service and impact. He holds a Professional Doctorate in Economics and is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Expert, and Chartered Economist. In addition, he is an alumnus of both the Lagos Business School and the Harvard Business School, institutions that shaped his global outlook and leadership approach.
With over three decades of professional experience, Dr. Aruna has excelled in leadership roles across key sectors of the Nigerian economy—including oil and gas (upstream and tank farm operations), banking, manufacturing, statutory audit, and tax consulting. His tenure as Finance Controller in several organizations earned him recognition for his exceptional skills in financial management, corporate governance, and strategic planning.
Beyond his corporate accomplishments, Dr. Aruna has demonstrated an enduring commitment to service and community development. He is a Past President of Rotary Club, Past Chairman of the Finance Committee of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), and a former Governorship Aspirant in Edo State, where his vision emphasized good governance and sustainable growth.
Currently, he serves as President General of the Uku Secondary Commercial School Alumni Association (USCSAA), where he is spearheading the revival of the school’s commercial program through the establishment of a modern ICT and Business Studies Hub.
Dr. Aruna is married and blessed with two children.
